  1. Looks like George’s Diner is open on Hillsborough Street beside Bojangles in the building that I think used to be a Miami Subs. The sign reads “Open 24 Hours.” I look forward to giving it a try.

  2. Fyi, this post showed up super freaky-looking in Google Reader.

Thanks for the list, though — some interesting-sounding names! Looking forward to the reviews.

  3. Red Sea may sound interesting, but isn’t–it’s Red Sea Chicken and Fish in Lakewood (where Blue Nile used to be, alas). Standard fried stuff. Not of interest.

  4. It’s great to get some blog lovin’! But I should point out that while The King’s Daughters Inn’s “Kitchen” is an inspected commercial kitchen, we’re not open to the public, only to our overnight guests (and only for breakfast!). Tours, however, are on the house…

  5. Sansui of Japan* is, we’ve determined after a couple of visits, magnificent. I don’t know if you take requests but I’d love to see a write-up of them. They’re working hard and the food was fantastic both times we were there.

    * It’s in the same space as Tokyo Fun and, before that, China One, were, across from the entrance to Meridian business park.
