Something worth doing: New Years Eve at Jujube

I did this last year, and it was tons of fun.  If you do it, I recommend the later seating.  Be forewarned: it is a huge pain to get a taxi back to Durham on NYE.

6pm menu: $45 per person
Optional drink flights of $20 and $40 per person

Tuna tartar with rice crackers and wasabi jam
Lemongrass scented lobster bisque

  1. While I’m a huge Jujube fan, I’d suggest another time to go. This is much more expensive than their usual beer and wine dinners, especially their ‘recession wine dinners’ that have been running $40-$50 including food and wine.

  2. It is definitely not the best time to go in terms of value for the product, but it was a very fun atmosphere and worth the extra cost. YMMV.
